Cyanotype 07012013

Last week I saw the exhibition Faking It: Manipulated Photography before Photoshop at at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.

Photos are related more to personal expression (and deception) than to visual truth – and always have been.

This cyanotype is partly inspired by some ideas from the show. Just seeing all the black and white images, gelatin silver prints and daguerreotypes prompted me toward cyanotype for a back to basics photo day.
